KDT’s Performing Groups are for younger students who want more performance opportunities. These groups participate in many community performances, holiday shows, and some attend competition as well as performing at Recital.
Junior Divas
The youngest of the jazz performing groups learning jazz basics while working on fun rhythmic dances. (By invitation only) Prerequisite: enrolled in another dance class.
Divas In Training
A young jazz performing group learning jazz basics while working on fun rhythmic dances. (By invitation only) Prerequisite: enrolled in another dance class.
Dancin’ Divas
An older jazz performing group beginning to learn more advanced jazz steps while working on fun rhythmic dances. (By invitation only) Prerequisite: enrolled in an Intermediate level dance class or above.
Musical Theatre (Ages 4 & up)
A combination of acting, singing, and dancing while using props & sets. Productions set to musicals such as Annie, The Grinch, Polar Express & The Little Mermaid.
Pink Ladies (Ages 4-6)
This cheerleading group works on stunts, jumps, tumbling and fun rhythmic dances with poms and a KDT cheer uniform.
Tappin’ Tots (Ages 3-4)
A competition tap group who work on a pre-school level routine for performance. (By invitation only) Prerequisite: enrolled in another dance class.
Tappin’ Dolls (Ages 5-6)
A competition tap group who work on a routine for performance. (By invitation only) Prerequisite: enrolled in another dance class.
Sassy Taps (Ages 7 & up)
A competition tap group who work on a more advanced routine for performance. (By invitation only) Prerequisite: enrolled in another dance class.
