Nutcracker Ballet
Each December Kennedy Dance Theatre gets into the holiday spirit with their production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Ballet Mistress Yuka Omori. Ballet Jete’, KDT’s Pre-Professional Company is featured in the show and a surprise visit from Santa Claus will top off the night! All in attendance will have the opportunity to shop at Clara’s Closet Christmas Market to help them find their favorite gifts!

"Making Waves" Recital
Saturday, May 24th & Sunday, May 25th San Jacinto College Central Campus Richard S. Slocomb Fine Arts Building 8060 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505 At the end of each dance season we give all of our dancers an opportunity to perform on stage in front of a large audience at our annual Dance Recital. Recital is not mandatory, however we highly encourage participation to develop confidence and stage presence as a culmination of what they have been working on for the year.

Ballet Jete Tea
Each year KDT holds a beautiful "Ballerina Princess Tea" to announce new members of the Ballet Jete' Company. All younger, aspiring ballerinas are invited to attend and wear their favorite princess outfit. After receiving special autographs of Ballet Jete', guests are treated to lunch and tea at beautifully decorated tables created by each company member. The afternoon concludes with a performance by Ballet Jete' and Yuka Omori, Artistic Director and Choreographer, announcing the new company members and their exciting performances for the upcoming season.

Rice University Half Time Performance
The Divas performing groups are excited to perfrom during the halftime show at the Rice University football game!! This event will be held on Saturday, September 30th at Rice Stadium.

Competition
Each year KDT's companies and performing groups attend several competitions including Showstoppers, Rainbow, Kids' Artistic Revue, Starbound, Youth America Grand Prix and many more. KDT has consistently had many dancers and routines placing as regional champions along with receiving other awards including: Overall High Point, Technical Excellence, Choreography, Good Sportsmanship, Studio Excellence, Photogenic, Dancer of the Year Finalists and many scholarship invitations and judges awards.
